Pamela Walsma is the founding partner of the law firm of Walsma & Rodriguez, P.C. She is an experienced attorney having practiced in Arizona for over 30 years. She has extensive experience in all aspects of estate planning, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney; guardianships and conservatorships; probate and trust law; business law; contracts; and real property law.
Her practice at Walsma & Rodriguez, P.C. focuses on probate and trust administration, guardianships and conservatorships, and estate planning.
Pamela provides her clients comprehensive, personalized legal counsel. She works closely with each client to identify their goals and to formulate a pragmatic and cost-effective legal strategy. She will thoroughly explain her clients’ rights and options and will guide them through the decision-making and legal process. She will assert their rights and provide the high-quality legal advice that clients need to advance their cases. Not all issues are legal ones and Pamela believes in common sense solutions and sound legal advice.
She is also a fiduciary licensed through the Arizona Office of Court Administration. For decades, Pamela served as executor, trustee, guardian, and conservator for many individuals and estates. She now assists other fiduciaries, both licensed and unlicensed, with legal advice regarding their fiduciary duties, compliance, and administrative issues.
Pamela has served as legal counsel for towns, public agencies, and school districts. She has acted as a Hearing Officer for the City of Yuma, a Judge Pro Tempore, represented the Hospital District No. 1, Yuma County for nearly 30 years.
Pamela is active in the local community as well. She has been involved in local groups which support and assist programs and services in Yuma or other causes close to her heart.
Away from the office, Pamela is an avid tennis fan and enjoys spending time with her rescue dogs Charlie and Cooper.
